About Me
I have been a dietitian for over 15 years. During my university training, I always imagined myself working in a hospital setting. But as soon as I graduated, something unexpected happened — my own GP began referring patients to me, and I quickly discovered how much I loved working in private practice. Supporting people one-on-one, helping them understand their health and make meaningful changes, is what I find most rewarding.
I’m originally from Sydney, which still holds a special place in my heart, but these days I love living in the country. My husband and I moved to the Central West when our son was born, wanting a quieter pace of life away from the busyness of the city — and I could never imagine moving back.
My interest in nutrition started long before my career. I was born with a rare condition that requires me to follow a very restrictive diet. From a young age, I had to learn what foods I could and couldn’t eat. As soon as I could read, I was studying nutrition labels and ingredient lists. It sparked a lifelong fascination with how the body works and how the food we eat influences our health.
